Hope you will explain those things for me, thanks a lot. I remember that in Windows, it suggests me to format the pendrive as it doesn't 'know' WBFS filesystem but even if I don't do that I can unmount the pendrive - in Linux - it's impossible, as it's not even mounted because Linux doesn't 'know' WBFS file system either - but here I cannot unmount it. Not sure if just plugging it out is 100% safe as Wii games are rather big in size. I'm afraid about pendrive if I cannot unmount it - that's why I ask. Second question is about WBFS, why cannot we unmount these pendrives(I am at workstation with Ubuntu 14.04 now but I guess it's the same for all Linux distros).
I never tried the NTSC version, as I read the same topic than you, that advised to use the PAL version on a PAL Wii. Note: the wbfs is not split, as I use a NTFS partition for games bigger than 4GB on my external HDD). But so far I didn't find any Linux program that supports it. I have a PAL Wii (2006), and MP Trilogy PAL works fine on USB Loader GX r1281 (only tested MP1 so far. Hello, I'm curious, do we have any Wii games manager that supports FAT32? As far as I know using FAT32/NTFS instead WBFS is very popular now - it's better as we can use our Pendrive/SD Card for more things than just games like it is when using WBFS.
